Mountain Laurel Strings

We are:

• A multi-generational ensemble of all ages for string players (violin, viola, cello, bass) with established skills to discover the joy of playing existing string ensemble literature and to become better players together. 

• An educational ensemble with the objective to become better players (“play well together” is our motto).

We make it possible to:

• Give people who are relatively new to playing their instrument a chance to grow with the skills they have been learning.  

• Provide an opportunity for people who have played a stringed instrument before to bring back the skills they learned earlier.  

• Mix adults with youth, as playing together is for everyone of all ages.
